Just last week, monday 14th March we had a record snowfall in Tenerife. The snow reached way below Vilaflor (1500m highest village in Spain) and as such, was a most unusual event for this time of year, let alone having snow at some 900m!

First time I came to the Tenerife Island (one of Canary Islands) was 4 years ago and that place simply amazed me a lot. Why? It is simple. Winter it the Czech Republic isn´t really ideal place for mountain biking and for about 3-4 months we have snow and freezing temperatures like the rest of the central Europe. If to a road covering on island of claims is not present, some sites of roads will force to suffer even the skilled motorist. So, the majority of lines in the west of Tenerife – the present mountain streamers on which, alas, at times there are tragedies.
